Anti-inflammatory Effect of AGF on Cytokine Levels
Protein concentration of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) and interleukin-1β (IL-1β) in the rat blood samples was measured using the method introduced by Cai[9]. Briefly, protein was extracted from the blood samples and the concentration was adjusted to 4 mg/ml.The concentration of TNF-α and IL-1β was then determined using a commercial ELISA kit(Shanghai Jinma Biological Technology, Inc., China) following the manufacturer's instruction.
