Measurement of IL-1β and TNF-α Level
Protein concentration of interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) were measured by the way introduced by Z. Cai [20]. Briefly, rats were killed after grip neurobehavioral test. Protein was extracted from the whole brain and the concentration was adjusted to 4 mg/ml. The brain concentration of IL-1β, TNF-α was then determined using a commercial enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit (Shanghai Jinma Biological Technology, Inc., China) following the manufacture’s instruction.
