Measurement of IL-1b and TNF-a The concentration of interleukin-1b (IL-1b) and TNF-a in the aqueous humor was determined using a commercial ELISA kit (Shanghai Jinma Biological Technology Inc., China) according to the manufacturer’s instructions.Measurement of NF- B activation Nuclear factor kappa B (NF- B) activation in the eyes was determined using an ELISA kit (Shanghai Jinma Biological Technology Inc., China) according to the manufacturer’s instructions. This kit specifically detects the p50 sub-unit of NF- B.
